Eulogies Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the pair.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he finally felt ready to express about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can at last put my grief into words," posted Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner created an instant bond. "When we commenced spending more time together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the production, remarking that he cannot recall "a single day without mirth".

"This story is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob valued immensely. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes wrote.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still pangs every time I think of you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Colleague and Comrade

In a separate essay, legendary director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with his co-stars, and he understood the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese added.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Withheld

Recently, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to prevent the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A judicial mandate placed a security hold on the files to restrict the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" connected to the ongoing investigation.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a public database noting the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Fallout and Commentary

After the killings, public figures offered divergent responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, offering provocative remarks that were broadly criticized by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the critics last week. Conversing on his program, Rogan labeled the statements as "disturbing" and remarked they demonstrated a concerning absence of compassion.

Rogan finished by remarking that an associate could have intervened when the decision to weigh in on the passing was made.
